Sheila Arsenault and her daughter, Danika, have been dreaming and planning Treetop Haven for a long time. And now it is yours to enjoy and create memories and experiences to last a lifetime.
Sheila and Danika are avid travelers and love talking to people about their travel experiences. Sheila has explored over forty countries across six continents, while Danika has been to ten countries – pretty good considering her age!
Sheila has stayed in beach huts, bush camps, hostels, trains, cruise ships, and luxury hotels. She found that her best memories have been from times she’s stayed at unique and personalized accommodations. This, of course, was her inspiration for creating one of PEI’s most unique accommodation destinations.
Sheila has met and talked to many travelers during her travels around the world. The two questions she constantly found herself asking of fellow travelers were: 1. what destinations do you recommend? and 2. where did you stay?
Through her own experiences and conversations with travelers, Sheila came to understand how accommodations can serve as an important and memorable part of one’s traveling experience.
With that in mind, she set out to create Treetop Haven, unforgettable and unique accommodation on Prince Edward Island, one of the world’s most beautiful islands and an incredible travel destination
Sheila has her diploma in Travel & Tourism Management, as well as her Red Seal as an Electrician. Danika has graduated from preschool and now takes the school bus to kindergarten. Danika enjoys swimming, karate, gymnastics, and dance. Danika wants to be an Interior Decorator.
